The short version: we collect the minimum data needed to run the app. We don’t sell your data. We don’t run ads.

What we collect

  • Email address — Used for authentication, account recovery, and essential notifications (streak alerts, subscription updates).
  • Task data — The tasks you create, their completion status, and timestamps. This is the core of the service.
  • Usage statistics — Streak counts, completion rates, and aggregate activity data to provide your stats dashboard.
  • Payment information — Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details directly.
  • Device tokens — For push notifications, only if you opt in.

How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the Only3 service
  • To authenticate your account securely
  • To process subscription payments
  • To send essential transactional emails (password resets, streak alerts)
  • To calculate and display your productivity statistics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • AWS (Amazon Web Services) — Hosting, database, and authentication (Cognito).
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and encrypted database storage. Your password is never stored in plain text.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
